Yes, we offer both in-person and telehealth sessions! 

How can EMDR therapy help me?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can help you by providing a specialized therapy approach to process and heal from traumatic experiences or distressing life events. Working with a trained EMDR therapist can reduce the emotional distress and negative beliefs associated with those memories. EMDR can alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD, and provides a pathway to emotional recovery and improved emotional well-being.

How long does therapy take?

Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of time counseling takes for you to accomplish your goals depends on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek counseling in the first place.

How long are appointments?

Typically, we work on a 50-minute session.  Occasionally this is extended due to clinical necessity and other factors.  

How often will I attend therapy?

We recommend that you attend weekly at first. Then, your therapist will make an assessment based on your needs and you will make the decision together on how often you attend.  

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

I want to get the most out of therapy. What can I do to help?

We are so glad you are dedicated to getting the most out of your sessions. Your active participation and dedication will be crucial to your success.  

Active participation to your wellness journey outside of session can look different depending on the person. We encourage clients to engage in eating nourishing and comforting foods, enjoying the sunshine, moving their bodies in ways that they enjoy, connecting with their cherished people, attending support groups, getting adequate and restful sleep, and much more.  Let's talk about what that looks like for you!
